There is no doubt about this one - it is simply a must win game for us to finish 3rd in the Conference and nail that 3rd place spot and RCC qualification for next season. Don't win and we face an uncertain wait to see if we are the 7th best team from the Pro14. We will be hampered by the fact that our only senior loosehead has been called up To Team Wales to cover Rhodri Jones who is injured. Nicky is not part of the 23 for Italy so we may, just maybe get him back???
I think the team will look like....
G Phillips S Parry T Botha L Peers R Davies W Griffiths M Morris G Evans
R Webb S Myler H Dirksen K Williams T Thomas-Wheeler K Giles D Evans
Reps
I Phillips AN Other M Fia S Cross O Cracknell (unless we pull an Academy lock up - aka James Fender)
S Venter J Thomas J Hawkins (struggling with our back reps)
I thought Luke price had a good game last night and it can’t have been easy to go into a game like that with only having featured in a friendly so chwarae teg to Luke!!! In terms of the younger players we saw last night and this season, the future is looking bright IMO: garyn Phillips, ifan, lake, Rhys Henry, Rhys Davies, will Griffiths, Morgan Morris, Keiran Williams, Hawkins, Protheroe, giles (probably leaving others out who deserve a mention)...hopefully some more of the same Calibre will be available to us next season via the academy but as many have said, I think additional recruitment is needed in the shorter term. I thought Gareth evans at 8 had his best game in a while for us too.

The Dragons can do us a big favour a week Sunday. We are unlikely to get anything from the Leinster game.
Thought it was a great effort tonight and great debut by Rhys Henry but their class showed when it counted. They have a great outside half in that young 10.
Great effort, well done guys...one question, what's the point of Keelan Giles? Apart from his pace(apparently)I've not seen him do anything impressive! Never ever ever seen him beat opposition one on one...are we holding on to something that's not there? For me, waste of a wage.
30-25 Glasgow Warriors. Just could not find that last score and another bloody length of the field try against the run of play. Will Glasgow rue not getting the 5 points and us having the losing BP?
Whatever happens in these last few minutes, you cannot fault the effort.
Damn
Glasgow are going to stuff us.
That‘s an incredibly poor side from us. Massive clear out needed.
Glasgow have some 20 players unavailable for selection, 11 of whom would likely start/bench if available.
By my count we have 18 players unavailable, 10 who would start with another 4 on the bench.

Toby Booth, Ospreys Head Coach, said:
"It's a big game, we went well against them earlier in the season, but that seems like a millennium ago, and it probably was. We know Glasgow are depleted from a Scotland point of view and it's going to be an arm wrestle.
"One thing I will say is that Glasgow are a positive side, and I know Danny Wilson well and have known him for a long time, so they will be well prepared.
"We really have to get involved with the arm wrestle, but that is the same in every game. The challenge for us is looking at ourselves and asking can we convert pressure into points, and that is the challenge we have set ourselves this week."
Unfortunately this is going to be a very easy win for Glasgow. We have players starting who shouldn't and we have players on the bench who shouldn't be...unfortunately for Toby he hasn't got any alternatives, this is the hand he's been dealt so he has to use it.
We all go on about the previous regime and times like this it really hits home how bad they really were, from their management to their recruitment was an absolute tragedy! It's sad that they have now moved on whilst us fans have to suffer their actions probably for the next season or two, possibly longer when we lose a few class acts(AWJ, Tips, Lydiate etc)and have to look to replace them.
However, at least things seem to be taking shape behind the scenes and hopefully the right people are being put in place to move in the right direction...I for one am looking forward to a prosperous future.
Anyone know what's happened to Car Evans? Seems to have disappeared from the scene. Is he any worse than Luke Pice?
Both Webb and Myler are OUT. Myler for maybe a few weeks but Webb could be a lot longer.
Do we go with Venter & Price; Venter & Joe Thomas; Ruben M-W & Price or Rueben & Joe Thomas?
Owen Watkin will start. Could Booth use him at 10 as he was a 10 with the RAG set up?
Watkin has been released. TTW is so bad I would not even have him on the bench. Would not be surprised if Myler and Webb struggle to make it.
