The Ospreys certainly got the result they badly needed away at Benetton after a disappointing home loss against the Cell C Sharks a week ago. The result keeps the Ospreys at the top of the Welsh Shield but this Saturday sees the Ospreys face their toughest fixture of this season thus far when Munster come to town. The Irish province are unbeaten so far and will likely be at full strength but the Ospreys are probably going to be without their Team Wales players. That will necessitate changes for the Ospreys and I expect a 23 man squad to look something like this....
N Smith G Thomas S Parry I Phillips T Botha M Fia R Davies BBBD J Regan J Morgan M Morris E Roots S Cross
R Webb R Morgan-Williams S Myler L Morgan A Cuthbert K Williams O Watkin M Nagy J Hawkins M Protheroe
Munster fans are not happy with their loss to us, they are still grinding on about it on their forum and their coach is getting a right kicking. I know it’s sad on my part but it makes me so happy.
Cheers
Anybody know what the attendance was on Sat?

Just before half time last night the Munster Head Coach Van Graan was on his way down to the Dressing rooms when he stopped right by the side of me, and I asked him how many players he had back from the Irish squad, he was non comital, I said about half a dozen and he said yes, I then said how they were much better helped by the IRU than we were by our Union and he agreed with me.
Luckily for us it didn't impact on us last night, have to agree with many with their views on our performance last night, lets just hope the improvements keep on rising without Pivac noticing.
I don't think its just your opinion...he has been superb
Rhys Davies gets better everytime I see him play, big physical and mobile with a high work rate. A complete modern day lock. Our forwards seem to play better when he is on the pitch in my humble opinion.
Cheers to P-19 for thinking that Jac and Rhys D aren’t international calibre.
Great effort last night. Was great to see the Irish influence ineffective towards the officials despite the continual mouthing of munster players. Well done referee, a good impartial performance.
For me, we won the game with our defence. Constantly in their faces with great line speed. A bit of luck throughout the game, but every side requires that.
Some very good individual performances, most notably Nicky Smith, Cross, Morgan, BBBD and I thought Cuthbert was busy. Rhys Davies for me was outstanding. My only negative, Root is no number 8. I thought he struggled at the base of the scrum. But perhaps he could improve with game time.
Overall, a happy chappy this morning...even though the missus has just ended it with me! Could this weekend get any better 😁
Well done Ospreys 👏
Superb effort by everyone.
I thought Toby got the tactics smack on as we slowed the game down at every opportunity
Phenomenal effort from the boys. Very glad to be proven wrong. Best home result for a long time.
What a win. Obviously I would have loved us to score a try but a win is a win especially against a strong Munster 15. The character shown by everyone involved was super. Through the Bradley Davies had one of his better games. He was a nuisance throughout and was strong in both defence and attack
Fantastic win couldn’t fault anyone, Jack Morgan wow.
Great effort by ospreys and a great result. just want to say a big well done to Sam cross too. He takes a lot of stick on here and I thought he was absolutely superb!!!!!!
That was a good game of rugby in terms of us beating Munster. I thought the referee had a good game, missed a few things but got the big calls spot on and we deserved the win and denying them a losing BP was even sweeter.

It’s a real shame that they are unaffected by international call ups and we are, because we won’t be playing Munster in Swansea again until 22/23. I think we are huge underdogs, but we have shown that we can compete when everyone is on their game, so fingers crossed we can put in a great performance tonight. Their strength of the 22 is scary though.
Seems to be a side of injury returnees, some first teamers and some fringe players. And Cross.
Thanks to Paul for the team - let’s hope we don’t have injuries.
Lost cause of a game, unfortunately.
Here is the team/squad
