The URC and the crowds return for the visit of Edinburgh to the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, January 29th. There is a short turnaround from the Sale game and the 8 Ospreys in the Wales 6 Nations squad are highly likely to feature in this match so we will be up against it from the off.
Hopefully, everyone will have recovered from Covid19 and any minor niggles so I expect the 23 to look something like....
N Smith G Phillips E Taione S Parry T Botha M Fia R Davies W Griffiths H Sutton E Roots M Morris D Lydiate H Deaves
R Webb RMW J Thomas S Myler L Morgan K Williams M Collins K Giles M Protheroe M Nagy
Discuss. Edited.
Just listened to Booth's Sale post match press conference and he said that the Lydiate, Myler and Nagy are all back for this game. Therefore I have included them in the 23. Will Sutton be picked ahead of Ashley?
A reflective view of the superb win against Edinburgh

Yeah, he is.
Cardiff, Munster, Ulster, Edinburgh - we’re specialising in these staring contest wins where we just outlast teams who are dominating us with ball in hand.
If we can solve the backs, we have the forward foundation to hang in games.
Excellent result and great grit shown by the side tonight.
Loved the chargedown from Morgan and Prothero!!!
Good win wasn’t sure if we could come back from the first half, but our defence was a lot better in the second half. Their no8 should have got yellow for that cheap shot.
I genuinely can’t summon the effort to care. Week in week out the same players make the same mistakes.
Was that a definite yellow as it looked accidental live in the stadium? If not the ref has ruined the game.
Going to need a huge performance here.
That’s a fast back 3! In fact is it the fastest back 3 that we’ve ever fielded?
Parry is back but no Lydiate or Nagy. That side is about as strong as we can put out and the bench has some strength to it.
Here is the team....
Anyone see the boys train?
I’ll second that @ospreysfanforum . big test for the boys against a team that attacks so well. Interesting to see what team we can field.
Looking forwards to getting back to watching the Ospreys in the stadium this Saturday.
Gareth Anscombe has been released back to the Ospreys for game time in this match.
This game is going to be crucial - we’re on a losing streak and if we can’t get anything here we’re staring down a barrel.
Fiddler posted in the Sale thread that Harri Morgan went off injured after just 24 minutes into Ampthill's game yesterday.
The original post has been edited to show some returning players.
I think this might be the game for making some changes. Maybe Carrington. Maybe Knott Definitely Nagy if fit. Recall Harri Morgan from loan. I would pick Henry over Fia and hope we see Sutton or Fender over the ineffective Ashley who gets rag dolled in contact far too often or better still Bradley Davies is back. Deaves would be worth looking at as we know Cross is not going to be a pro standard player. If Garyn Phillips is still on loan then Rhodri Jones will be in the 23.
