There have been comments from people who live in the village of Ystradgynlais, concerning Clarke's behaviour.
I would add my own theory regarding what is now the eventual outcome in that the Ospreys may have needed to deal with issues concerning a duty of care towards him possibly over his mental well being. He must have been under a hell of lot of pressure over past two years and could have come to a boil recently.
In hindsight initially he may have been seen as having potential over a duration of time after being drafted in as reactive decision to deal with a mere dilemma which in reality turned out to be more crisis management.
Having expressed all that I think it was the right decision to let him go, Clarke did not have the necessary skills, experience or character to manage this Ospreys team especially with it containing individuals that were bettered skilled and vastly more experienced hence more than one in my opinion could do a better job than him; thus any attempts to motivate what was left of the team through the present set of circumstances proved to me (and now it appears others) he was out of his depth.
Thus the spot light should now be focused on the individuals who appointed him and subsequently if my theory is correct, were they neglectful in their duty of care for him.
I know that it's a result driven game and the results were certainly against him, but I feel that he wasn't given the backing or the tools do do he job properly. It will be very interesting to see who we appoint, whether it will be another head coach role or a Director of rugby role (Performance Director). If the latter, then we will still need to appoint a head coach. We still need to appoint a proven defence coach. I believe, although I maybe wrong, that Andrew Bishop is currently undertaking this role. One day, he might develop into an excellent defence coach but at the moment he doesn't seem up to it.
I wonder when the truth will come out. Has anybody heard any rumours about what this heinous personal conduct was? If Ruddock is to become Elite Performance Director and there will still a need for a head coach. It strikes me that Millward and Griffiths are under more threat from an EPD than the head coach was.

He parked his car in Millwards space!
What the hell did he do? "ospreys will be making no further comment on the matter" seems to be a theme here
