Most teams field big physical centres. Our problem is not instintive runners in the centre. It is an inability to get over the gain line and create quick ball on a regular basis. The instinctive runners you crave tend to be in the back three with most teams not in the centre

@Jake Bullet Our discipline was poor but I would not necessarily say we were awful. From the time we won our first penalty on 29 minutes we were on fire for about 20 minutes but we let Benetton back in and did well to sneak the win. We showed some real heart.

A lot will depend on whether you are right about Webb still having what it takes or if you are wrong. You will never play succesful running rugby if we get the same level of speed an accuracy from the base we have seen in the first three games. A big game from him tomorrow is vital

@Fiddler Webb had his best game in ages.

@ospreysfanforum I think he showed today he still has it in spurts and those spurts won us the match. He is in decline but without him we would not have won. Nagy was outstanding and we finally discovered a combination with Phillips and AWJ that could win back ball which in turn brings the maul in to play.

Tom Francis was nowhere to be seen at the captains run yesterday.

@paul.rogers83 Thanks Paul. Pretty woeful selection. Winning Saturday won't be far off as big an upset as the Leinster match possibly bigger as Treviso will be bothered about the outcome.

Still we have to live in hope. Dropping a very winnable home fixture last week sounds as if it was down to very poor mental preparation after the two derby matches.

@Fiddler so as Ireland aren’t playing until a week after us, there’s a chance that munster could come fully loaded?

@Jake Bullet Yes they were going to play the States in the US when we played NZ but that was cancelled becaise of Covid. Do they need to be fully loaded to beat us? Not on the evidence of the weekend. We have too many problem positions even when we are fully loaded. 9 13 and 15 being the obvious ones.

@Fiddler I agree, I don’t think they need to be fully loaded. However its Annoying that we are at an immediate disadvantage when we need everything going for us to even stand a chance.
