After suffering their first loss of the season against the Sharks last night, the Ospreys have another short turnaround before they fly out to Italy to prepare to face Benetton on Saturday, October 16th at 3pm. Incidentally, Benetton also lost last night so both teams will be coming off a loss so will have a point to prove.
I expect only minimal changes to the squad with Kieran Williams being involved but the starting lineup may be changed around.

I that Osian Knott has recently been playing for the Whites and has been man of the match in at least some of the matches
Williams, Watkin, Hawkins and TTW are all inside centres. Trying to pair them hurts the defence badly.
A hard fought win against a side whose game plan was to play attacking and fluid rugby, the speed of the ball and intensity of attack had our defence struggling. The same thing happened last week we struggle to cope with unorthodox and instinctive players. We don’t have runners in midfield all our centres are very similar, big and dangerous close to the line but lack agility and initial speed off the mark.
I think we should give Nagy a run at full back he shows real promise.
We got away with one there. There’s some big problems we have to address ASAP
@ospreysfanforum i guess that’s what I meant with all of the penalties. I think thats a result to be proud of yesterday though, great character and done good rugby in the 2nd half too. Great to see Owen watkin on the charge for Webb’s try and nagy try great too. it’s going to be incredibly difficult against munster who thrashed the scarlets last week, but hopefully our performances continue to go up a notch.
In the first half I thought we were at times awful, but done great rugby in the 2nd half and thought Rhys Webb showed some nice touches. Great BP win at a place that more and more teams seem to struggle at, so with 3 wins from 4 I’m very happy And we’ll done to the team today!!!
I didn’t expect us to win today with the changes, so a bonus point win I will take that.

Ole ole ole ole!!!!!
Not a great start but a great finish to the first half and the start of the second half. Fair play to Benetton for coming back into it but the Ospreys dug in and claimed a hard fought win. Well done Ospreys.
This game is going to get ugly.
weather forecast for treviso tomorrow is perfect for running rugby…hope we can try some of that.
Well, we have a good bench at least...

Not sure, I was even wondering whether they’d be available for Munster when we really need them?
Does anyone know if the 5 Ospreys in the Wales Squad will be available to us for Saturday?
I think there will be quite a few changes to the run on team for Saturday.
