A general manager commercial general manager rugby, commercial manager sales manager and a managing director who needs five non execs to support his lack of business experience and an elite performance director. What on earth do they find to do all day?
@Nidum the attachment with the job spec says 21 k per annum. The board need to wake up and smell the coffee. The structure off the field is a bloated joke. Too many titles too much quantity not enough quality.
@Fiddler Not sure if you are referring to the salary of 21k as too high or too low? From my own experience and knowledge of similar jobs in other areas of the UK this salary would struggle to attract that much attention. Hence there would have to be other reasons to attract someone of quality to apply for the job.
@edwar53 I think it is too low if we are expecting the appointment to make an impact. It might have been okay for an enthusiastic starter if we had people higher up in the off field structure of a better calibre. But in our case it will be the blind leading the blind.
