What an absolute shambles. The football season is already up and running yet us rugby fans have no idea when we're going to see our first game of rugby at the Swansea.com Stadium.
And when they do come out...3-4 league games followed by internationals, with top players fitting in when available. Back into European rugby with injured or not ready players and on and on and on...no wonder the regional game in Wales is not followed by many.
Also another reason I haven't got a ST. I will wait to see the fixtures and buy a ticket on a weekly basis.
I think you have to be very careful Tommy that you do not make the Ospreys suffer for other people's faults. They would love to be in an anglo Welsh league but the english clubs are not interested. They would love to be financially independent of the union but at this point they cannot be. They would love South Africa to be free of the pandemic and have no problems with how they can get in and out of that country.
It is up to you how you spend your money as it is with everybody but as supporters. I lean to the view we need to do everything we can to show as much financial support to the Ospreys as we can as they try to build something out of the hand they have been dealt.
@Fiddler it would possibly be a waste of money for me to purchase a ST until I see at least the first 3 months of fixtures, due to other commitments. But as the fixtures aren't out yet I will purchase on a game by game basis, at least then I'll be putting money into the organisation.
@Tommyboy664 Fair enough. How we choose to support is up to each individual and I have no doubt you are totally committed as a supporter. I agree with you about the people running the game of rugby union at both World Rugby and the National unions. My only point is the Ospreys already suffer enough from their incompetence and self serving attitudes so we as supporters need to ensure they don't take the blame for others failings.
URC have released a statement saying that the fixtures are with the clubs and that they are trying to finalise the TV games, fixtures will be released shortly - probably next week.
That is a phenomenally difficult fixture list - when the fixtures occur is big for us with the way our squad is.
Any chance of having the fixtures in plain print? Can't make out who the hell we're playing 😒
Here we go...
I think we are away to Connacht at the time of the 4th AI and away to Leinster during the 6Nations, but happy to be corrected.
Apparently, we don't have long to wait for the fixture announcements, hours not days
Superb answer

'Professional' rugby run by amateurs.
I think four or five rounds will be hit by international windows - two this Autumn and two or three in 6N.
5/18 games is a big imposition on our squad.

Covid is probably the reason we have not seen them yet. Patience is required.
