So, with the latest HRC game forfeited and the latest URC game postponed, the Ospreys will hopefully have recovered from a bout of Covid-19 and be able to put out a team against the Scarlets on New Year's Day at the PYS. The Scarlets will be coming off a 6 day turn around in their game against Cardiff on Boxing Day, following 2 months without a game. The Ospreys will have not played since they faced Sale on December 8th.
I expect the Ospreys to go quite strong for this game but then again...selection will depend on who has recovered from their bout of Covid-19

Does anybody know if Rhys Davies is injured? He would have made a big difference.
Hi my First Post,The lineout is my concern in terms of game management,it seems we lose our own lineout turning our advantage and a probable win to handing the game to the opposition often losing the momentum and of consequence losing "Sigh".
Too late the season is over, as is usually the case with us over the past 5 years or so. It’s desperately painful because I am sure some of us looked at the players we have and thought this would be the season where we would make progress. Instead we have stagnated yet again. I think the
Scarlets should congratulate themselves, they didn’t panic as they knew they could pick us off and the big difference for me was the introduction of Patchell. Yes I know his kicking was atrocious but his hands and his quickness of thought made the difference . I guess we just have to go back to waiting for next season and see if we get any decent additions. By the way , the tries the Scarlets scored by simply walking over in acres of space….HELP!!!!
Another game we could and should have won, lack of composure and our inability to stop the Scarlets from running from deep cost us dearly. I appreciate times have changed and defences have their game plans but what has happened to marking your man. The wingers cannot give the opposition that much room and expect to cover the ground the Scarlets sucked us in and created space which we couldn't defend.
I can see your point @fiddler and accept that there has to be a conveyor belt of continuous improvement whereby players whose pace (for example) has left them are no longer left exposed at this level. My points remain though that players within our squad are most likely doing their all to get us to the next stage of our journey, even if that means them being phased out, and most certainly do not deserve the tag of being ‘garbage’…particularly a player who has in my opinion been a great osprey in the past. I as well as a lot of other fans I guess get really frustrated at losses, certainly derby losses, I just can’t stand destructive personal comments like that, especially as you can’t rule out the pjayer(s) reading this forum.
Quite simple, we should have won that game and won it comfortably but those two stupid interceptions cost us dearly .
I just think our players in our squad give their all and for that I applaud them. None will be hurting more than than them. Personally I struggle to read some of the disparaging comments that are sometimes left on this forum.
Next week against a full Glasgow on a fast track is going to be a complete shaming if we like we did tonight.
It’s looking like another wasted season, to be honest. Some of the errors we’ve seen against Connacht, Sale and the Turks are semi pro level.
Damn I thought we had them, our bench had no impact and theirs did. Ah well onwards and upwards , I hope.
Pack holds its own but our outside backs are seriously lacking in skill.
North will add some class but we desperately need strengthening in that dept.
Allowed the ref to manufacture a result?! Also although I think Dan evans has lost pace I think your ‘flat out garbage’ comment is massively disrespectful.
Thought we were very unlucky actually. Who was garbage in your opinion? As much as I thought some things were frustrating I thought we did ok considering we’ve been ravaged by covid. Wasn’t the thrashing you predicted either.
Same old story. We’re not good enough - some real garbage on that pitch. Things won’t change any time soon.
Jac Morgan to score first in an ospreys win 😊
Disappointing side - we must still be feeling the effects of the covid outbreak.
We’ll do well to keep it respectable.
Here is how the Scarlets line up...
Here is the team.....hmmm
What’s up with Cuthbert?
