After the disappointing loss away at Zebre, last week, it is the Pro14 Champions Leinster next up at the Liberty on Sunday afternoon. Both teams have their best players away with their respective International teams but Leinster have a strength in depth that is the envy of all of the Pro14 teams and will be a particularly touch nut to crack.
Essentially this is a free hit, almost a hiding to nothing, as most people would expect a Leinster win but then again, stranger things have happened and it is all on the day. I expect a similar looking match squad to last week and it is great to see the younger players being blooded. The starting team will look something like....
R Jones, D Lake, M Fia, BBBD, A Beard, T Cracknell, D Lydiate, J King
R Morgan-Williams, J Thomas, L Morgan, S Williams, J Hawkins, M Protheroe, C Evans.
Reps
G Thomas, I Phillips, T Botha, W Griffiths, S Cross, M Aubrey, C Carson, B Cambriani (??)
Missing so many players puts such a massive strain on the squad.

Does it show the lack of interest and apathy of supporters that there are only two posters on the forum hours after the game.

I agree Fiddler. I am getting so fed up watching us make the same mistakes every week. Jiffy wrote this week about the lack of flair in Welsh rugby and our fixation on power plays, we seem to be stuck in the middle we lack the power to go through players and the flair to go round them.
An expected result but why is everything we do so slow and pedestrian. Another cause of concern is our lack of ambition our back play so far this season has been abysmal. There is no zip or urgency in our game with one up runners getting isolated.
Interested to see how Venter goes. IMHO he’s not shown much since he’s been with us, which is why I’m assuming he’s been 4th choice SH.
I find it amazing that we only have one open side in our squad...I wonder is booth can persuade Sam Lewis to come home?
Going to watch this one from behind the sofa.
Why are we starting with Fia, don't rate him at all. Think Toby is realising Cracknell ain't good enough? I hope BBBD pulls his socks up and starts putting in better performances, haven't been impressed with him in a long time. Great to see R Davies on the bench and glad he's sticking with the youngsters at 10/12. Also looking forward to seeing that back row perform👍
Here is the Ospreys team
That looks a well balanced side.
