The Ospreys will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first League title during the Connacht game. This game should also see the Ospreys debut of Nayacelavu. The 6 Nations will have finished so we may see some of our TW boys back in the squad, although I think Jac may be given the weekend off.
Here is my potential squad
G Phillips C Jones (possibly Gar Thom on the bench)
S Parry G McGuigan(possibly D Lake on the bench)
T Botha B Warren
J Fender J Ratti W Spencer/A Beard?
J Tipuric H Deaves M Morris M Morse
K Hardy RMW/L Davies
D Edwards
K Giles
K Williams E Boshoff O Williams
D Kasende
J Walsh I Hopkins

We really do need to get sponsorship from the defibrillator factory with these 82 minute games.
It was good to see Rhys Davies in the warm-up and getting 80 minutes out of Beard, Parry, Morris, Morse etc.
Sorry I might have got carried away he had treatment. Reuben went off injured and came back on for HIA ? Tristan Davies passed HIA and came back on but Fender didn’t. mark Jones upbeat in presser but that’s why he’s z coach and I’m upping my medication. Reserves out next week and put our eggs in one big basket.
Reuben was groin Botha was foot and the reserve hooker didn’t last 2 minutes
1 3 7 12 plus 3 subs injured. It’s going to take a lot to recover from that. What an amazing evening.
What a bonkers game! To go from 10-14 down to 31-14 was amazing and then Walsh's score after half-time improved the lead to 38-14 but then I felt the Ospreys took their foot off the gas a little and when Connacht scored two quick tries, things got a bit sticky. Up stepped the postman and 90metres later it was 43-28 only for Connacht to add another 2 tries in quick succession to make it a nail-biting finish. Fortunately for us, the ball fell our way and Adam Beard walloped it into touch. 12 tries, 10 conversions and 83 points - WOW.
I just hope that our walking wounded are not too badly hurt and that they can recover if not for next week but certainly the week after.
Well, that was something.
We wouldn’t have signed the Gloucester lad if we had another fit hooker unless heaven forbid Lake has a problem. We used an emergency hooker from the Uni for Leinster game as well.
So Ethan Cameron Jones and Deaves injured or a change of plan in the back row. ? We could have played Morse and Morgan together weeks ago.
Very odd on our Fijian. He can’t play in Europe so I assumed he’d play next two. Without taking Connaught too lightly the focus must be having the strongest 15 for the cup.
Just announced that George McGuigan has signed on a short term deal as cover for Lewis Lloyd. Could be involved on Saturday.
So no Nayacalevu but maybe Beard and Cokanasiga. It seems that DanEds, Ben Warren and Sam will definitely play and the other Wales boys that played against England may just get a bench slot. A bench of Dewi, Ben, GarTom, Beard, Jac, Reuben, Keith and Nagy/Iestyn might be the best we field all season. If he is fit then Owen Williams has been good enough at 12 to keep the shirt.
Id be tempted to give him some minutes. If our defence has looked susceptible it’s in maul defence. Beard helps tidy that up
I think Spencer got injured in the last couple of minutes of the Glasgow game, hope it's not a bad one as he's been a good signing.
