I like our new CEO. He has done more to engage with supporters in two weeks than his predecessor did in 2 years.
If you have anything you want to say to Lance or ask him a question, please post it in here and I will ensure that he will see them and answer if possible.
If anyone has booked a place at the Q&A and can't go
Can you let me know as have a friend who would like to attend but left it too late
Here is an interview with Lance on RugbyPass - 'There is no deadline, but I expect it will be some time in March' (rugbypass.com)
If we do announce in March or even April, I think it will be a positive thing and we can start planning for the future.
Been banging on about where our support and sponsors are located by postcode
Spoke to Scott to confirm that I would like the answer at the meeting
Also the band little outlay by the Region to create the atmosphere
Has anybody on here received an email confirming attendance for the Q&A session with the time and room being used. I've not heard anything and I'm wondering whether I'll be allowed in as I'm not 100% sure that I signed up for it.
Thanks Wayne
Thank you for the comments and feedback on the podcast. Lance was brilliant and a great sport. He really does have the best intentions for the club and is really committed to driving us in to a new age. Keep the faith folks🖤
The other interesting aspect of the podcast is that he hopes in the coming months to be able to set out clearly to fans the Y11 atrategy aound taking stakes in various clubs. If this can be communicated properly to the media it might help in killing off all the speculation we get from hostile journos and social media know it alls everytime Y11 talks about making investments in other clubs being exploded into a merger story.
It's mentioned below but can you ask lance if there's any intention of bringing back the band, best thing for atmosphere. Also if we can be more strategic with the music playing. It can work well in breaks of play when it helps get the crowd involved if it's of the singalong variety. But when it plays after we score the crowd start singing and it drowns it out and kills the atmosphere stone dead. It's a real bugbear if mine and my boys (so not just an age thing).
Also shouldn't we have the anbition to regularly sell out at least an 8000 stadium. 6000 seems really unambitious.
Can somebody please put a link up to this podcast as I haven't seen it .
Thanks
Concerning this match, can anybody answer this question, does a ground have to be able to hold 10,000 capacity in order to hold one of the knockout games, When Celtic Warriors played Wasps in (think) 2004 the ground could hold 12,000 and for that game the official attendance was 10,000. For our game on NYD against Cardiff there was only just over 8,100 in there and that was classed as sold out.
Jason, a couple of items about the Sale game. Are they thinking of temporary stands which should be discounted in April?
What are they doing for parking for that game as the web tells me that car parks in the town close at 7 or 8 pm?
(Maybe Wayne can inform us on that?)
He's been a breath of fresh air...great energy, enthusiasm and communication. All the things we've been missing.
I'm ready to dip my toe back in the water after an absence of many years. Yep, I'll be there for the Ulster game. Apparently, there's a discussion with the new CEO before the game, anyone know where it will be ?
