Indeed just watched the whole game on you tube. It is the first time in years we have won the gain line battle in attack and defence. We then played to a very clear and tight pattern. I have not seen that kind of energy from us for some time.
That was an unexpectedly excellent win in terrible conditions. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't manage a BP! We have a tough start to the season but that will surely give the squad a lot of confidence. Job well done.
Really didn’t expect that, I suppose we’ve been burnt so badly the last 18 or so months I thought we’d roll over. How wrong I was, excellent performance.
@Jake Bullet Booth gave a very fair explanation for Scott Williams not starting but even allowing for that if you set reputations aside Kieran Williams and Owen Watkin would be our starting centres. The Venter who played for the Cheetahs was one of the best 9's in the Pro 14. We have hardly seen him play for us and not in the new attack system. You cannot fault that selection after that result. Cracknell is an effective player in those type of conditions because his lack of lateral speed and agility cannot be exposed.
Ventner is joining our growing band of overseas disastrous signings. It’s a long list. This season we have 2 props in the same position and that appears to be it along with Myler.
@edwar53 I don't quite see the hype around Dewi Lake as his throwing is very inconsistent and he has given away some crucial daft penalties. I think Otten provides a better impact off the bench. The rest of the bench is probably as good as we could get.
What is the point in not going up there fully loaded. Let’s pick our strongest available side before team Wales gets their hands on them. We have to turn our fortunes around and get the season off to a good start for the sake of the team and supporters.
@TaI North, Morgan, Protheroe, Giles, Cambriani? OK, North might not be available and Giles might not be fit but there are still 3 decent wingers there....
Think the game is on s4c tonight too
We looked like a real rugby side again. Not perfect but actually a rugby side.
That was as complete performance as we have put together for a long time .

bloody bloody brilliant
Can we swear here......I'd like to swear, a lot.....
....... well done all. Excellent result.
He seemed ok ,chatting to the other players in the stand .
I'll take that. Any news on Webb's injury?
Top job in those conditions, brilliant win.
great performance by us, aggressive throughout and looked in control throughout. Well done ospreys!!!

bloody hope so ,don't do a turks.
Good first half from us...can we back it up in the 2nd?
Underlines where we are where that really is quite a flimsy side with a lot of holes. Huge result if we can win but I doubt it.

Not sure of this team, good to see Lydiate back in the squad, odd that he has not had a run out of late. Is it me or does the bench look a bit weak?

we really need to get stuck in from the word go . Edinburgh are no mugs these days and will stuff us if we go half cocked.

Hopefully we’ll get some clarity over who is injured and not.
Think we’ll be really thin at wing.
