The Rainbow Cup continues on Friday 4/6/21 at the Sports Ground in Galway where 8th placed Connacht will welcome 4th placed Ospreys for the Round 5 clash.
The match day 23 is likely to continue to be a Mix'n'Match affair so I expect the squad to look something like this:-
G Thomas N Smith S Parry T Gleave T Botha R Henry A Beard R Davies AWJ or BBBD E Roots J Tipuric M Morris W Griffiths
M Aubrey R Morgan-Williams L Price C Evans or J Thomas L Morgan O Watkin K Williams J Hawkins K Giles D Evans

Knott, Callum Carson and any kid with any sort of skill.
Luke Morgan is a decent back up wing on dry ground… Defence isn’t his thing but his attacking (Especially with MP 15) is very good. Decent from the bench at least.
my biggest hope is the likes of TTW won’t bed block Hawkins or any other kids coming through. Ross Davies aside, least talented pro player I’ve witnessed.
Ed Fidow in talks…
Been saying it for years and years now but a lot of rugby comes down to weak link as opposed to best player and we have routinely acquired the worst players in the rugby in our squad for the last decade.
It is very worrying that Booth has retained Peers, Cross, Evans and TTW, if I’m honest. These are some of the worst players in the world and their presence in the side undermines us constantly.
15, 14, 13 and 11 are semi pro level. You cannot play one, let alone all four.
We are streets ahead of where we were, the age profile of the team (in the forwards anyway) has improved and we look like a solid side...when we can get most of the first choice backs out.
But the backs are forwards are miles apart in talent and basics and this is what is holding us back.
The only difference between the Ospreys now and the Ospreys under the disastrous era of CLARKE is that we lose by lower scores, we still lose though and history will not show any progression if you continually lose.
Coaches need to plan to win games.

No idea why Adamson denied that Hawkins try....terrible decision by a terrible ref. I can't say that it cost the Ospreys the game (that was a complete lack of defence and tackling from certain players) but it certainly didn't help.
Disappointing night from the Ospreys.
What has happened to marking your man ? I appreciate I played a long time ago and times have changed but you cannot give your opposite wing so much room. So far our backs have been virtually nonexistent in attack and bombed the one chance we had.
Great set of scrums from the Ospreys leads to a try for Sam Parry and Myler converts. 26-19 at the half.
Defence is not something the Ospreys are bothering with tonight as Connacht score again, 26 -12 with the BP in the bag and the conversion misses.
A scrum penalty is kicked to touch and a solid driving maul leads to a try for Sam Parry. 21-10 with the conversion to come. It is good. 21-12 after 25 minutes.
More poor tackling from Ospreys gives Connacht another try that is converted and they lead 21-5.
FFS Connacht score almost straight from the restart, 12-5 conversion to come. It is good and they lead 14-5.
That is better. A penalty to Ospreys goes to touch and the maul finds the ball in the hands of Morgan Morris who scores. 5-7 with the conversion missed.
Not a great start by the Ospreys. Some dreadful tackle attempts allow Connacht to break and then Webb is shown a yellow card for a deliberate knock on. The resultant penalty is kicked to touch and they score from the maul. 0-7.
Hope TTW can do what he did a couple of seasons ago and completely nullify Aki. It’s great that we rest our lions and Connacht play theirs. Great to see Myler and Webb back though..hope Myler can control the game as well as he normally does. Having said that, Carty may have other ideas.
Ospreys to win tonight with TTW getting a brace 💪
