The Ospreys return from their mini SA tour and have three full weeks to prepare for the start of an intense three weeks of Welsh derbies before finishing the season at home to the Bulls from SA. If the Ospreys are to win the Welsh Shield and finish as the best Welsh region, although a finish in the Top 8 might be beyond them, they need to win all of their remaining four games. The game against Cardiff will not be easy but the Ospreys should be able to call on as strong a squad as they have been able to for the first time this season.

I cant understand why after two seasons with a decent enough squad, we are still saying that things will get better in seasons to come…why…will we have a magical windfall of cash that will enable us to buy Fijian Flyers or Saffer Warriors, and why would they come anyway.? The younger players that we have , the likes of Griffiths. Deaves, Morgan, Morris, Davies are good enough to compete with most opposition but what we are concerned about is the lack of coaching and tactics and not the lack of decent players.
