Fingers crossed thus should be a win for us on the weekend. Does anyone know why we‘re playing at St Helens? Millward mentioned the move to train there was out of necessity, but neglected to say why they’re playing there on the weekend?

if they play any more games there I hope they get some more cameras in. The standard of the coverage was more like a welsh premiership game (no puns about so was some of the play!!)
Don’t know if it’s just me but there seems to be a few comments, tweets etc about St. Helens from the ospreys, such as ‘spiritual home’, and how amazing it is to be by the sea. does anyone think there’s anything behind this? Ie a permanent move on the cards.

When we played Benetton last year, I seem to recall they had a red card bery early in the game. They very nearly won it with 14 men last year and deserved to IMO. Yesterday we were poor at the breakdown again, looking incapable of protecting our ball and again not able to clear players off the ball. This is worrying, but I agree the ospreys of last year would’ve lost that game comfortably. Small steps in the right direction but i wonder where the tenacity and general pace of the last 15 minutes were for the rest of the game? It seems we start and end games well but the middle hour is where we’ve struggled of late. I think it will take a long time to see a big change. Well done to the team though for showing real character to win.
Well it wasn’t pretty and I thought we had lost, but we would definitely have lost that game last year. Small steps but we will get there.
That was not a good game to watch but at least the Ospreys forced their way back into the game and managed to snatch a victory.
What did everyone think of the red card? Yes it was not the best of challenges but Evans had his head down and eyes on the ruck at all times. He was focused on clearing out and did not see the Treviso player. For me, I would have said that yellow and a stern talking to would have sufficed but I am aware of the new rules.

We keep making the same mistakes every week ,the way we fail to control the ball is unforgivable. I’ll take the win and as much as I hate to agree with Holley his assessment of our game plan or lack of it was spot on.
Christ, that was awful. Dreadful, dreadful stuff.
Here is the Ospreys team for tomorrow. Interestingly there is a 6:2 split on the bench.
I notice kick off is 1:45 but the shambles that is Premier Sports starts coverage at 2:30!!!
How much longer do they have TV rights for? I'd never thought I'd be desperate to see the BBC Wales/S4C coverage back on our screens!!!
Maybe north back for sunday.
The Ospreys return to one of their original joint homes when they play Benetton at St Helen's on Sunday November 22nd at 1.45pm kick off. After three successive defeats the Ospreys cannot and certainly should not be complacent when the Italians come to play. Had previous results been better, this might have been a game to freshen up the Squad and give some of the fringe players a go but the pressure is on again and we need to secure a win. Bradley's injury will likely mean a start for Rhys Davies but that will likely put Will Griffiths on the bench as second row cover. I think most of the rest of the team will be similar to the Munster game.
I think the team will look something like this....
G Thomas I Phillips M Fia R Davies A Beard O Cracknell D Lydiate G Evans
S Venter S Myler H Dirksen K Williams T Thomas-Wheeler L Morgan M Prortheroe
Reps
R Jones D Lake T Botha W Griffiths S Cross M Aubery J Thomas S Williams

I would guess it is because the Swans have home fixtures on the Saturday and the following Tuesday/Wednesday.
